Discount supermarket chain Aldi is helping shoppers get in the mood for love for a range of products especially-designed to mark St Valentine’s Day.

Back by popular demand this Valentine’s are Aldi’s Love Nuggets – and they’re joined by a whole host of other heart shaped foods to love.

Hitting shelves from February 7, Aldi’s fun and quirky heart-shaped collection of traditional favourites starts 85p.

The range includes Lakeland’s Valentines Crumpets (85p, 4 pack) available from February 14. A delicious breakfast staple, best topped with butter or slathered in a spread, these doughy bites are a quick and easy way to get into the romantic spirit without blowing the budget.

Back by popular demand is Aldi’s iconic Chicken Love Nuggets (£1.99, 350g). The iconic chicken nugget contains all the crispy deliciousness of a regular Aldi nugget but in a fun and cheeky heart shape. Made with 100 per cent British chicken, this year they’re coated in tempura batter so they’re ideal for the gluten-free foodie.

Aldi’s Valentines Sharing Bread with Camembert (£2.99, 300g) provides a perfect way to share a tasty treat. A luxury rich and creamy camembert centre is surrounded by a warming and hearty tear-and-share bread.

Meanwhile, Aldi’s Cupid Wings (£1.69, 400g) feature a pack of heart-shaped chicken wings, seasoned in a Buffalo sauce with a side of Blue Cheese to cool things down a bit.

The range also includes Valentine’s Pasta (£1.29, 500g), and Aldi’s Heart Shaped Pizza Bread (99p, 145g – a rich tomato and creamy mozzarella topped special side to any main course.

Meanwhile Aldi Mini Pancakes are the ideal way to treat a loved one to a breakfast in bed.

The delicious heart-shaped treats are available in stores from February 10 (£1.49, 300g). Try topped with strawberries and maple syrup for the sweetest celebration.
